Following the success of their May event, UK Recruiter are running a second Recruitment Software and Innovative Technologies Showcase event in September 2012 (http://recnet27sept.eventbrite.com).  The event is purely for recruiters (agency or inhouse) and offers an ideal opportunity for you to find the right IT solution to your business challenges. Five top reasons why online software is beneficial for start-up companies

When starting any new business no matter the industry or sector the start-up costs are key to everyone, this includes cost of IT hardware, software applications and accessibility of the information you use daily, and all this represents a financial hurdle for start-up’s or even established companies looking to move away from their current IT solutions.

CRM Solutions in a ‘Nutshell’

After several discussions with clients over the past few weeks it is apparent that getting the most out of your CRM is very important and a lot of people put cost at the top of their list when deciding on a solution… However this shouldn’t be the case as Recruitment specific CRM solutions will streamline most/all the processes to get the most out of your business.

Many recruiters do not understand the benefits that a customer relationship management (CRM) system can bring.   CRM is much more about recruitment process than ‘contact management’.   For example a CRM is expected to store client and candidate contact information and do e-mail marketing, but recruitment CRM systems do so much more such as, sending CV’s, generating contract documentation, posting messages to twitter/facebook etc.. A recruitment CRM system should work in a way that is intuitive to a recruiter, and help with the overall recruitment workflow processes.   Recruiters who are thinking about implementing a CRM should be aware that generic ‘off the shelf’ CRM systems which are not recruitment industry specific will always fail to deliver a return on investment.   This is because they do not reflect or model the workflow/data/reporting etc.. desired by the recruitment industry and thus force recruiters to change their established and proven working practices to a generic ‘one size fits all’ approach. Sales in the Cloud

Welcome all to TriSys’ Sales blogging!

It’s been a fair while since I’ve written an article due to being out of the fold for ½ a year caused by being involved in an RTA with a lorry… however since returning to TriSys I’ve noticed how the Cloud has changed the way everyone uses cloud technology in only a few months!!

As a highlight, what I’ve noticed to date is the following…

 

  • Everyone who’s running recruitment companies has a “Cloud” footprint in one shape or another
  • Most recruiters want to have access to their Clients and Candidates while on the move
  • 90% of all recruiters are using social networking to advertise, pitch and resource information


In a nutshell, everyone is using the “Cloud” (internet) way more than they used to 6, 12, 24, 36 months ago; making sure they aren’t just relying on their website, job boards or good old word of mouth.  The Cloud is constantly moving at rates quicker than everyone can see.  As soon as we think we’ve caught up, several new innovations are changing standard practices… not all for the better, however some really great concepts!

I’ll be updating my blog on all sales process and cloud innovations moving forward.

On a lighter note, we’re expecting more snow over the next few days in the UK; the best part about Cloud technology is we can work remotely if we’re stuck at home and no way into the office! :o)
